Respite Care is a service included in the support designed to provide individuals with disability with additional time and support. It also offers relief to the carers looking after the individuals with disabilities. Respite care gives a short break to the carer from looking after someone with a disability and a change of environment and additional support to those with disabilities.

Respite means the support and funding for accommodation away from home provided to participants. This support falls under STA- Short-Term Accommodation. The individuals (participants) can stay by themselves in these accommodations or with a group of people.

Our Respite Care services include assistance with self-care and provide food and overnight support. At Akaay Ability Care we not only offer care and support but also engage the individuals in different activities like learning daily life skills and picking up new hobbies and more. This allows individuals to develop new skills, connect with people, and enhance their overall well-being,
